Indian Black And White Pictures !

If you are not new to my Blog you must have seen my Post Rare Pictures - Before Independence so, in the continuity of that post i have collected some more rare Pictures just before or after Independence which i am gonna post today here. This time around the pictures are particularly from northern India. Black and White Pictures fascinates me a lot , they give you an insight to the era that has gone. All the pictures i have got from Google Images ,time and place of all the pictures could not be confirmed.

India Gate

If you have visited India Gate you could easily see the difference in terrain in this pic,you have lots of trees and greenery there now also one can see North Block and South Block in background.

All i know about Kashmere Gate is that we have ISBT(Inter State Bus Terminus) there, have someone seen the Gate there still ?

Jama Masjid
At present if you visit Jama Masjid and area around it you will fight to get a foothold. Sometime I wonder how its gonna be if we could go back to past and visit all the places that are very crowded today.

Connaught Place Aerial View Below

When i first saw this Pictures i could not understand how Connaught Place is so close to Rashtrapati Bhawan and Parliament House and that too both are in opposite direction[Connaught Place should be somewhere Behind Parliament House but instead its in front of this pic] then carefully studying this pic i came to know that this pic is combination of two pics the above one is of Rashtrapati Bhawan, North Block,South Block and Parliament house and the Below one is of Connaught place [when it was being constructed].

    1. I would have liked if you had read closely, I had clearly written below the pic that it is combination of two pics, I am always up for criticism and would correct anything wrong in my Blog, thanks for the comment.
