The Week it was

Okay I am back again pretty soon as I had promised in my previous post. Still I don't have any idea what I would write today but I had begin and intend to complete this post in an hour only.

Yeah so I have got some clue what I could write for this post. I will discuss how this week had been for me and what I did.

As I work in Noida and live in South Delhi I have to cover huge distance daily and it took me around minimum of two and a half hours to cover one direction journey. From last one and a half years me and my Colleague friend Amit are covering this strenuous journey day in and day out, a large part of my day is spent in traveling. I can not afford a car so I have to use Public transport which consists of travelling by Bus, #delhimetro, Auto and then a km of walk to reach my Office. Last week I came to know of a different path and I have been using it and results are very good two and a half hours journey is now reduced to two hours only. Having said this journey now consists of paddy fields too crossing them my Office suddenly emerges which feels good. So all in all minimum of 1hr is saved from my daily routine which I could use some where else.

Now to some very important issue the "C" button of my Office laptop has came out from its place and what has left is a rubbery inner button which is helping me to type C [ as I type this post also ] but now it has also come out of its place. Work in my Office is done through this laptop only and believe it or not the most used button is C[ probably this is why it has came out ] , now what I can do is to go to the Service center and get it repaired which I am not in mood to go,secondly I have one backup keyboard of my Bro in Law's PC which I could use but then taking it to Office daily is not viable last remedy of which I am thinking is to use Fewi Quick[smiling] what say ? will it work ?

Now to not so very important thing, I was getting training in my Office on a new technology from last month which I always wanted to learn, I thought I would never get to work on it but one fine day a mail came to me and I was surprised to see my name in the list of trainees for that technology. From last week I had started to work on that technology and coming few days would be very challenging for me. Hoping for the best.

Oh yeah India and Pakistan celebrated their Independence day this week and a welcome holiday after so many months too for us. So many freedom fighters fought for our freedom[5 words starting from F in this sentence wow !!] we must surely spare a thought for them every now and then as we get time. I wrote Pakistan in the first sentence, don't know why but I am very obsessed with Pakistan and things related to it. What was nice to see on Facebook and twitter this Independence day was Indians greeting Pakistanis on their Independence day and vice versa. I had always believed to prosper we both countries should move ahead together, hopes others have this feeling too.

Tomorrow I'll be going to my hometown Meerut [bad thing >> have to wake early morning]. As I finish this post I am still struggling with this worn out button C  :( ,Indian Idol is coming on TV to which I am not giving much attention. Okay I must take leave hoping to return soon with some productive and nice post :)

  1. i guess ...fevikwik wont work.....same is the condition of ctrl button of my laptop....
Best of luck for ur ongoing training........and yes... do take picture of that paddy path and share tomorrow,i`ll talk to bhabhiji (Mrs.Yadav) for permanent road.........1 hr is a lot of time u have spared....

    1. Thanks ! Yeah I will be back with the Paddy path pic soon :)

  2. A good round up of your week gone by. Travelling for 5 hours daily must be so harrowing! Fevi Quick must do the trick for your C button (too much Copy Paste? :P)
Happy Independence Day to you Abhishek and hope the new training you are getting helps you.
Good to see you blogging :)
